Welcome to Series 1 of Journey Through Jungle at The Vinyl Reset in Denver Colorado.
At The Vinyl Reset we promote all genres of electronic music as healing for our souls; but in particular we celebrate jungle, hardcore, dnb, and breakbeats.
We are bringing in stateside jungle artists throughout this next year and beyond to promote our homegrown artists. In addition, the lineups will be filled with the best the state of Colorado has to offer in DJ's and Producers. These will be all vinyl sets, with maybe the occasional hardware set mixed in.
Valentines' and Erik's B-day weekend seemed like the most logical place to start. Absolutely thrilled to be bringing in a stateside legend along with a stacked local lineup:
Dev/Null Boston
First stateside artist that epitomizes jungle culture, rave and vinyl is none other Dev/Null. The Boston DJ and producer has been collecting for almost three decades, and in that period, he has amassed one of the most impressive jungle stashes on this side of the… Pond. Though the London-incepted genre has always been a bit of a niche proposition in America, Dev/Null has long flown the flag. He runs a blog and radio show dedicated to obscure rave and jungle sounds. He runs a reissue label 8205 recordings out of London and plays often for the iconic rave crew Distant Planet.
