This is an introduction to Professional Use Only products as created the PGI.
This class was developed based on the overwhelming need for a standardized training curriculum for these devices.
This is the first class of its kind and recognized by many Articles Pyrotechnic suppliers. Unlike other classes this class may allow you to purchase 1.4 Professional Use Only products depending on the supplier.
Please note that neither RMPG nor PGI shall assume liability for use of this certificate of training.
This training meets the requirements outlined in the PGI/APA/NFA definition of professionals.
Students who attend the class and pass the examination will receive a certificate of attendance directly from the PGI, not RMPG.
The course will cover:
· Types of Professional Use Only devices
· Selecting appropriate sites to use Professional Use Only devices
· Setting up Professional Use Only devices
· Firing methods
· Shooting precautions
· Safety precautions
· Storage
· Transportation
· Live fire demonstrations - weather permitting
