87 Foundation presents Sandbox, a monthly program dedicated to showcasing Denver's talented young musicians.

We offer a platform for the talented musicians performing as DAES, where they can perform in the shadows of greats at the former El Chapultepec - the legendary jazz club where greats like the Count Basie, Chet Baker, and Frank Sinatra played.

THE HOST:
The night is hosted by DAES, a multidisciplinary jazz band consisting of students of Denver School of The Arts. Their sound is both classic and modern, with jazz leanings that take influence from hip hop, to IDM, and beyond.

OPEN JAM:
After DAES plays, the floor is opened up to Denver's young musicians.
Musicians are encouraged to come and participate by bringing their instruments. Here, they can meet and jam with other people around their age in the Denver community, and hopefully collaborate in some ways outside of the venue.

All styles and levels welcome.
